Data warehouse appliance leader appoints VP of EMEA operations and strengthens operations in France, Germany, Italy and UK with additional technical and account management personnel

Bracknell, Berkshire. — March 9th, 2009 — Netezza Corporation (NYSE Arca: NZ), leader in data warehouse and analytic appliances, has appointed Alan Cornwell as VP of EMEA Operations. Cornwell will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s growing business operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In the last 12 months Netezza has opened offices in France, Germany and Italy.

Cornwell brings to Netezza over 30 years of experience in high growth technology organisations. He joins Netezza from eCopy, a leader in document imaging software, where the European revenues grew by over 250% under his leadership. Prior to eCopy Cornwell was with SealedMedia, a leader in digital rights management and enterprise document security solutions as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
