MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — July 29, 2008 — Netezza Corporation (NYSE Arca: NZ), the global leader in data warehouse appliances, is further developing its business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and now has a German subsidiary headed by regional manager Bernard Doering. Following its acquisition of NuTech Solutions in May 2008, Netezza now has a total of 15 employees in Germany, based in Munich and Dortmund. NuTech Solutions will continue to operate as an independent organization within Netezza.
