NETEZZA DOUBLES OFFICE SPACE TO ACCOMMODATE GROWTH

Continues Expansion for the Development of World's First Purpose-built Business Intelligence Appliance

Framingham, Mass.-June 10, 2002-Netezza Corporation today announced the relocation and expansion of its corporate headquarters in Framingham, Mass. Netezza has doubled the Company's headquarters from 13,000 square feet to 26,000 square feet. The Company currently has 70 employees and expects significant growth by the end of 2002. Netezza began operations out of the new facility located at 200 Crossing Boulevard in Framingham, Mass. last month.

In May, Netezza announced that Ed Zander, president and COO of Sun Microsystems (Nasdaq: SUNW), had joined its Board of Directors. In March, Netezza announced the completion of a $20 million round of financing led by Matrix Partners, Charles River Ventures and Battery Ventures, bringing the Company's total funding to more than $28 million.
