For Netezza, It’s Easy Being Green

As we designed the Netezza data warehouse appliance for fast analysis on big data, we also leveraged the patented architecture to create a system that requires much less power and significantly smaller footprint – about 70% and 50% less, respectively – to process the same amount of data as other systems out there. Data centers and power grids were maxing out and energy costs were rising, so it just made sense.
