Prat Moghe, SVP of Strategy, Product and Marketing
As SVP of Strategy, Product and Marketing for the IBM Netezza data warehouse appliance family, Prat drives growth strategy, product development and leads a marketing organization that encompasses product management, product marketing, demand generation and corporate marketing. Prat also leads the Strategic Integration and Alliance office, supporting cross-IBM appliance initiatives as well as alliance-oriented technology partnerships.
Prior to joining IBM, Prat enjoyed success as a serial entrepreneur and strategic leader for various data-intensive analytics products. Prat was the Founder & CEO of Tizor, a Netezza-acquired start-up that provided behavioral auditing and analytics for data compliance. Before Tizor, Prat founded StreamCenter, a startup that pioneered real-time data mining of large-scale Internet congestion data for video delivery, and served as its CEO.
Prat's strong technical background was honed early in his career at Bell Labs Research. He has several patents, and received PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA. Prat is a TiE Charter Member and is active in mentoring other entrepreneurs.
