Thanks to all members of the global Netezza community
for your participation in the 2007 international
Netezza User Conference. The combination of customers,
partners, prospective customers and developers
made for an exceptionally exciting event.
The 2007 Netezza User Conference kicked off on
Monday evening with a welcome from Netezza Chairman
and CEO, Jit Saxena and was followed by keynote
speakers Geoffrey Moore and Catherine Kinney.
The first evening concluded with a networking
cocktail reception within the Partner Pavilion.
Tuesday's agenda featured Netezza President
and COO, Jim Baum as well as Michael Sporer, VP
Technology discussing the company vision and technology
direction. Following these morning sessions there
were more than twenty business and technical tracks.
Finally, the interactive gaming night was a perfect
end to end a long day, providing extra fun and
excitement for all.
Wednesday's sessions were focused on trends
and technology direction, including the formal
launch of the Netezza Developer Network led by
Netezza CTO, Justin Lindsey. And, eleven lucky
winners brought home their own SPUBoxes. Executives
from Netezza and Business Objects addressed the
audience over lunch and the event concluded with
the final series of technical and business tracks.
The Netezza community continues to grow. In fact,
more than 200 people signed up for the Netezza
Online Community at the Netezza User Conference.
We hope the week was a valuable one for everyone
who attended. Please continue your discussions
with your peers in business intelligence and data
warehousing online at www.netezza.com/community.
We look forward to seeing you in 2008!
