Principal Software Engineer


Key skills for this position:

Experience in getting operating systems or embedded applications to work on a microprocessor that they did not work on before. Knowledge of microprocessor architectures from a software perspective Familiarity with memory systems and memory caching Knowledge of low level software drivers.

Desired background:

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent plus 7-10 years of software development experience. Strong C/C++ coding skills and Linux/Unix knowledge. Experience doing large scale system development. Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: database systems, operating systems, high-performance server internals. Good communication and documentation skills.
