Principal Software Engineer/Technical Lead - SQL Execution Engine

We're looking for highly motivated people with the right talent and attitude to contribute to a successful product that will see massive deployment. Responsibilities include working in a team to design, code, and deliver features and extensions to the NPS system in the area of SQL query execution.

Desired background:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent plus 7-10 years of software development experience.
• Strong algorithms/data structures background especially database algorithms.
• Strong C/C++ coding skills and Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Experience doing large scale system development.
• Familiarity with internals of open source database systems such as postgres, BerkeleyDB, MySQL, etc.
• Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: database systems, file systems, operating systems, distributed systems, practical algorithms, high-performance server internals.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
