Principal Software Engineer/Technical Lead SQL

Responsibilities:

• Work individually or lead a team to design, code, and deliver features and extensions in the NPS system related to the query execution engine.
• Diagnose and resolve defects discovered during internal qualification.
• Provide prompt assistance to the support organization in resolving issues arising in customer environments.

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent plus 7-10 years of software development experience.
• Strong algorithms/data structures background especially database algorithms.
• Strong C/C++ coding skills and Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Experience doing large scale system development.
• Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: database systems, operating systems, distributed systems, practical algorithms, high-performance server internals.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
